1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how M/S Jai Durga Enterprises (the "Firm") collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you use jd-enterprise.com (the "Website") or contact us through it. It is published in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and rules made under it, to the extent applicable. By using the Website or sending us an enquiry, you consent to the processing described here.
2. What we collect
(a) Information you provide: your name (if given), mobile number, machine make and model, part name or number, photographs, and the content of messages or calls when you enquire through the enquiry form, WhatsApp, phone or in person.
(b) Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and time of visit, which is processed by our hosting and security provider to deliver the Website and protect it from misuse.
We do not collect passwords, bank, card or other financial account details, or biometric data through the Website, and the Website does not require you to create an account.
3. How the enquiry form works
The enquiry form does not store your details on the Website. When you press send, your details are placed into a WhatsApp message which you choose to send to us, and are then handled as a WhatsApp conversation.
4. Purposes
We use personal data to respond to enquiries; prepare quotations; check part fitment; process, invoice and deliver orders; provide after-sales support; maintain business, tax and accounting records; keep the Website secure and prevent misuse; comply with legal obligations; and, where you have agreed, tell you about products or offers (you may opt out at any time).

We do not sell personal data. We share it only as needed with: service providers who help us operate (for example WhatsApp/Meta for messaging, our website hosting and security provider, our business software providers, couriers or transporters, and our accountants); government, tax, regulatory or law-enforcement authorities where required by law or legal process; and a successor in the event of a transfer of the business.
